He Kula Na Mea Hawai'i is a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation.

Its mission is to perpetuate the cultural heritage of our ancestors and nurture the seedlings, (pulapula), the children of Hawai'i by teaching native language skills, traditional music and dance, Polynesian history and island craft to all who will learn. Sharing the spirit of aloha insures our ancestral knowledge will continue to grow throughout the world today.

Our sea-faring ancestors who left their families and villages behind to find a new home far away, knew to carry with them the seeds of their traditional culture. Carefully nurturing their new gardens they took root in a  land known today as Hawai'i.

As children of Hawaii's children, we too have traveled beyond our island shores hoping to create a new home in a distant land. Planting the spirit of aloha, the seed of our culture here, we, the living seedlings of Hawai'i, want to grow together to insure the perpetuation of our heritage.

E ola a mau i na mea Hawai'i.

Long live our Hawaiian culture.

Your support will help us preserve our Hawaiian cultural heritage here in our adopted land
